Attribute to Detective Sergeant Phil Skoglund
Police are making enquiries on behalf of the Coroner following the death of a man in Inglewood last night.
The man who died was 56-year-old Tama Eminukutepua.
Police’s thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
Police responded to reports of an altercation between a father and son on Pukatea Street, Inglewood at around 7:30pm.
The father collapsed shortly after and was treated by Ambulance. He died at the scene.
Police have spoken to the people involved and witnesses, and are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
A post-mortem is due to take place tomorrow.
