Invercargill assault update

1 min read

The 47-year old man involved in an assault outside Tillerman’s Bar over the weekend is still in Dunedin Hospital in a serious but stable condition. Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the assault but would still like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.

This is a timely reminder to make a safety plan with your group prior to going out, so that if you have been drinking alcohol and a verbal altercation does occur you can avoid the situation escalating.

If any members of the public have information in relation to this incident please contact Detective Regan Fahey of the Invercargill CIB on 03 211 0400.

Information can also be provided anonymously to the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
