Investigation continues into Invercargill fire

Invercargill Police are continuing their investigation into a suspicious fire at a house in Ettrick Street, Invercargill, which occurred last night just before 6.00pm.

A scene examination is ongoing in conjunction with NZ Fire Service investigators.

Police can confirm that no one received injuries as a result of the fire.

Police are speaking with a 39 year-old occupant from the address who is assisting with our enquiries.

Police continue to speak with numerous witnesses and ask if anyone has any further information in relation to the fire to please contact Invercargill Police on 03 211 0400.
