There will be a media stand up at 6pm today in relation to the armed incident in Bay of Plenty earlier today.
The stand up is at Police National Hweadquarters, 180 Molesworth St, Wellington.
Deputy Commissioner Mike Clement will be available to media.
Media are asked to report to reception prior to 6pm to set up their equipment.
Media please note Police will not be providing interviews or facilitating individual media requests.
