Police are looking for Raymond Stirling who has been reported missing in Hamilton this afternoon.
The 84-year-old was last seen in the Halcione Close area yesterday evening around 7pm. He is of slim and frail build.
Police and Mr Stirling’s family are concerned for his well-being as he suffers from mild dementia.
He is likely to be on foot and may be hitchhiking.
We ask that people check their properties, sheds and out-buildings in case Mr Stirling has taken shelter there
If anyone has seen Mr Stirling they are asked to call 111.
