Police can confirm that earlier today, police received a report of a male standing on the roof of an address with the firearm.
Police staff and AOS members responded to the address and a number of cordons were set up to secure the area.
After securing the immediate area, staff have cleared the house and have found no evidence that any firearm was present or had been used.
At this time no arrests have been made and no charges laid. Police staff are looking to locate and speak with the man mentioned in the original call to police.
