At 11.59pm on Wednesday 25 March 2020, New Zealand moved to COVID-19 Alert Level 4.

This means New Zealanders not working in essential services must stay at home and stop all interactions with others outside of their household.

During this time Police will continue to provide essential policing services.

Name release - Christchurch crash

Police can now name the two people killed in a crash in Christchurch on Friday 5 April. 
They were Fulumoa Daly, aged 35, and Ezekiel Loua, aged 12. 
Our thoughts are with their family and loved ones. 
Two children injured in the crash remain in a critical condition in Christchurch Hospital. 
The circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
