Name release: Marine Parade death

Police can now name the boy who died after being swept out to sea in Napier on Friday 21 February.   He was Marama Te Pou, aged 7.   Our thoughts are with Marama's whānau and loved ones at this tragic time.   The matter will be referred to the Coroner.   ENDS   Issued by Police Media Centre.
