Police are still interested to hear of any sightings of a Britz campervan on the Bluff Highway.

Invercargill Police are continuing with their investigation into the death of a 37 year old Australian female national who can now been identified as Tamara Maree Schmidt from Brisbane, Australia.

Police have completed scene examinations as well as the forensic examinations of a number of vehicles.

The woman’s family have been advised in Australia, and Police continue to assist them and her travelling companion who remains in Invercargill.

Police continue to thank those numerous members of the public who have come forward with sightings of the deceased and the campervan that she was travelling in. However Police are still interested to hear of any sightings of the Britz campervan and of any persons walking on Bluff Highway between the hours of 9pm on Sunday, the 25th of October and 12:50am, on Monday morning, the 26th of October 2015.
