Waitemata Police are now in a position to release the names of the two men who went missing while fishing off Martins Bay on Tuesday evening.
The deceased male has been formally identified as:
Stewart ATUTAHI
37 years old from Snells Beach
Mr ATUTAHI was the skipper of the runabout
Police are still searching for his companion:
Nicholas STUBBS
22 years old from Warkworth
Police are continuing their search for Mr Stubbs, and are supporting the families of both men.
