Papamoa Police seek information in burglary inquiry

1 min read

Papamoa Police are investigating a suspected burglary from a house under construction in the Papamoa East area, between Thursday evening and the early hours of Friday morning.

Two suspects were apprehended by Police at about 2.30am this morning, when they were stopped driving a vehicle towing a trailer full of pink batts insulation.  The pink batts insulation had been removed from its packaging and looked to be pre-cut, raising suspicions about its origin.

Police are seeking any information from the public, in particular those with houses currently under construction, that may be able to assist with their inquiries.

Anyone with information that may be relevant is asked to contact Constable Cameron Price at Papamoa Police Station on 07 572 2440.
