Person dies after being stabbed in Moerewa, Far North

A person has died after being stabbed in Moerewa in the Far North this evening.
 
Police were called to a Moerewa address at 8.45pm.  
 
On arrival a person was found to be in a critical condition. They died at the scene a short time later. 
 
The alleged offender is known to the victim. 
 
No further information is expected to be available tonight.
