Person dies following New Plymouth crash

A person has died following a crash in New Plymouth that occurred early yesterday morning.    The car, containing four people, crashed into a wall at 1.30am on Wednesday 29 August.    A 22-year-old man was transported to Taranaki Base Hospital in a critical condition and sadly died at around 4pm yesterday.    Three people remain in hospital - one in a critical condition and two with serious injuries.    The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.    ENDS   Issued by Police Media Centre.
