Access to Macdonald Road in Glenview Hamilton is restricted as a Police and AOS presence continues at an address.
Police were executing a warrant to arrest of a person for serious charges, at an address around 10am. An exchange occurred at the address in which Police staff retreated from the house and sought AOS assistance.
The person remains inside the address and Police have contained the area.
Police do not consider there to be any wider risk to the public in the area, however for operational reasons part of the road will remain cordoned until further notice.
Police are speaking with the person in the house and are hoping for a quick resolution.
