Hawke's Bay Police are investigating a serious crash that occurred on SH50 near Tikokino this evening.
The crash occurred shortly before 6pm this evening and involved two cars. One person received serious injuries and was transported to hospital by helicopter while three other people received moderate injuries.
The road was closed for some time while emergency services attended the scene and has now re-opened.
The Serious Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
