Police have charged two people in relation to a stabbing incident in Otara last night.
Police were called at about 9.15pm on Wednesday December 26 to reports of a woman who had sustained multiple stab wounds following an alleged dispute on Bairds Road.
The victim remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
Police believe the alleged offenders are known to the victim.
A 15-year-old female has been charged with wounding with intent and is due to appear in the Manukau Youth Court today.
A 17-year-old male has also been charged with assault and is due to appear in the Manukau Youth Court on January 3, 2019.
As the matter is now before the Court, Police are unable to comment further.
