Police are looking to speak with 23-year-old Bodi McKee in relation to a fatal shooting in Manurewa this morning.
Mr McKee is Maori, 183cm tall of medium build and has tattoos on his left shoulder and left forearm.
Police believe Mr McKee is in possession of a firearm and he should not be approached. Any sightings of Mr McKee should be reported to Police immediately on 111.
Police were called to an address in Manurewa just after 7am this morning following an altercation between two men. During the altercation one man has presented and fired a firearm before fleeing.
The victim of the shooting has collapsed at the scene and despite treatment from paramedics he has died.
Police believe the two men involved in this incident were known to each other and the wider public are not at risk.
