Police release name in Waione Bridge investigation

1 min read

The results of a post mortem examination lead Police to believe that the man found near the Waione Bridge in Lower Hutt yesterday is not suspicious.

After informing his family, Police can also release the name of the 30 year old as Brett Ramon WAIWAI who lived locally in the nearby suburb of Moera.

Over the course of the day, Police have been working to establish his final movements and are still appealing for anyone who saw a Maori male wearing a black t-shirt and denim shorts in the Moera or Seaview area on Tuesday night, which was Guy Fawkes night.

Anyone with any information should contact Hutt Valley Police on (04) 560 2600.
