Members of the public attempted CPR but the man died at the scene.

Investigations as to how the man has come off his bike are underway, and though it's too soon to say whether a vehicle has been involved Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the cyclist riding in the area, or provide further information.

The 63 year-old man was wearing a blue and orange cycling shirt, black cycling shorts, and a red & white helmet.
