Police seek witnesses to Tauranga incident

Bay of Plenty Police are seeking witnesses to an incident where a motorcyclist was injured when he came off his bike in Tauranga yesterday evening (15 August 2016).

It happened at approximately 6-30pm on Monday on Lakes Boulevard, The Lakes.

The rider, a 30 year old man, was taken to Tauranga Hospital and was later transferred to Waikato Hospital.

Police would like to speak with any witnesses to the incident, including the driver of a white  plumbers’ van that was seen in the area.
