Police training exercise at Parliament

NZ Police is undertaking a training exercise at Parliament this evening.
 
The exercise involves officers rappelling down the side of the Beehive. 
 
Members of the public may see this happening from 6pm onwards. 
 
Police would like to reassure the public not to be alarmed, this is a routine training exercise and not an emergency event.
