Police are seeking any camera footage which could assist the investigation into a serious crash.

The crash occurred on Gorge Road Queenstown on the morning of Wednesday 13 March.

We would like to hear from any businesses or individuals who may have CCTV cameras along Gorge Road, Queenstown, between the city centre and intersection of Industrial Place.

The crash left a 22-year-old woman in a critical but stable condition in the intensive care unit at Dunedin Hospital.

A crash scene examination has been completed, and a final inspection of the vehicle involved is yet to be completed.

Police have identified the three people believed to have been in the vehicle prior to the crash, though it remains unclear as to what has occurred.

As Police are yet to establish the cause of the crash, we are interested in any footage that may show the vehicle as it travelled in the Gorge Road area.

The vehicle is described as a dark-coloured Honda Odyssey, registration number EEF783.

An exact time for the crash is also yet to be confirmed, though it would appear from information obtained to date that the most likely timeframe is between 03:45 and 06:00am.

Anyone who may have been walking in the area at that time and saw the vehicle, or otherwise believes they may have relevant information, is also asked to contact Queenstown Police on 03 4411600.

Please ask for Detective Matthew Jones. People can also provide information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
