Serious assault - Queen Street, Auckland

Police are investigating the serious assault of a man on Queen Street at around 4.20am today.   The man is in a critical condition.   Enquiries are under way to locate the offender.   Queen Street is closed between Shortland Street and Wyndham Street while police examine the scene.     ENDS   Issued by Police Media Centre.
