Serious crash - State Highway 25 / Tairua Road, Whangamatā

Emergency services are responding to a serious crash on State Highway 25/Tairua Road, Whangamatā.
 
The crash, involving a car and a motorcycle, was reported to Police just before 4pm.
 
One person has suffered serious injuries in the crash. 
 
The road is closed between Port Road and Harry Watt Drive.
 
Motorists are asked to delay travel or take alternative routes where possible.
