Serious crash in Waimauku, Waitemata

Emergency services are attending a serious crash on State Highway 16 in Waimauku, Waitemata.
 
Two cars were involved in a head on collision near the junction of Cloverfields Drive in Waimauku.
 
Emergency services are working on extracting a trapped driver from one of the cars. That person is believed to have non-life threatening injuries at this stage.
 
The driver of the other car has suffered minor injuries. 
 
Diversions are currently in place at Factory Rd and Foster Rd until further notice.
