One man remains in hospital following a stabbing incident in Hillcrest this morning.
Police were called to a property on Eban Ave about 1.50am this morning to reports of two men fighting.
One of the men received stab wounds to his chest during the fight, and was transported to hospital in a critical condition. He remains in a serious but stable condition.
The other man was also injured during the fight but has now been released from hospital and is currently being interviewed by Crime Squad Detectives.
Enquiries are ongoing with Police at the scene completing a scene examination.
Detective Senior Sergeant Callum McNeill says the two men are known to each other and Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to the incident.
