Attribute to Detective Sergeant Derek Shaw:
Police have charged two people in relation to an assault on Cow Lane, Queenstown, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The victim remains in Dunedin Hospital in a critical condition.
A 24-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm.
A second 24-year-old man has been charged with being a party to grievous bodily harm.
Both will appear in Queenstown District Court on Monday, 18 March.
Police would like to thank the public for their assistance, as the information provided directly led to these arrests.
