At around 2.30am this morning Waitemata Police attended a vehicle crash on Old North Road in Kumeu.
A van with 3 people had left the road and crashed. Two people, a young man and a young woman were both killed. The other occupant received minor injuries.
Police are informing the victims’ next of kin, and the Waitemata Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
No further comment will be made at this stage.
