Police can now confirm that the body recovered from Clifton Beach this morning is that of Timothy Langford, 75, who was reported missing after a fishing trip on the Tukituki River on 10 August.
Police offer their condolences to Mr Langford’s family and friends.
His death has been referred to the Coroner.
