Following a collision on Otamarakau Valley Road, Pukehina this afternoon, the Serious Crash Unit is still investigating the incident.
An SUV towing a trailer collided with a pedestrian pushing two young children in a stroller just before 2:30pm this afternoon.
The 2-year-old girl is in a serious but stable condition at Waikato Hospital.
The 33-year-old woman is in a serious but stable condition at Tauranga Hospital.
The 11-month-old boy remains in a critical condition, and has been transported from Tauranga Hospital to Starship Hospital.
While investigations are still continuing, Police believe fatigue may have been a contributing factor to the crash.
