Police are continuing to make enquiries after a 39-year-old man was shot in Stokes Valley.
The man received moderate injuries after being shot at an address on Hanson Street shortly before midnight.
He remains in hospital.
The Armed Offenders Squad assisted following the incident.
Residents will notice an increased Police presence in the area today as the investigation continues.
