UPDATE: Waiau Pa firearms incident

A 37-year-old man has been arrested in relation to a firearms incident at Waiau Pa yesterday afternoon.    He has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and unlawful possession of a firearm.    The victim remains in a critical but stable condition.    Police can confirm that this incident was unrelated to the homicide in Clover Park on Saturday 20 April.    ENDS    Issued by Police Media Centre.
