Waitemata Police can confirm that a 52-year-old woman has died after a motorcycle crash in Henderson this afternoon.
The woman, who was a pillion passanger on the motorbike, was transported to Auckland hospital by ambulance after the crash but died later in hospital. The driver was uninjured.
The accident happened around 1pm on Candida Road and the road remained closed until 4.30pm. The Police serious crash unit continues to investigate.
