Canterbury Police are now able to name the passenger who was the victim of a fatal crash on the Tasman Valley Road on the 24 August 2015. She was 18 year old Rebecca Louise Townshend from Dunedin.
The death has been referred to the Coroner.
Police investigations into the crash are continuing.
