A 30-year-old Waiuku man has been charged with Dangerous Driving after hitting two children aged 8 and 10-years-old with a vehicle this morning in Hamilton Drive, Waiuku.
He is due to appear in the Pukekohe District Court on 13 July, 2017.
The 8-year-old girl is still being assessed and remains in Middlemore Hospital however the 10-year-old girl has been released this afternoon.
Police are not ruling out laying further charges.
