Witnesses sought after cyclist injured in crash

Police are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed a crash in Kapiti on Wednesday 3 October, in which a cyclist was injured.

The crash involved a car and a cyclist and happened about 6pm on Raumati Rd, Paraparaumu.

The driver left the scene in the car, which is described as a blue or green hatchback, similar to a Toyota Starlet.

The cyclist suffered moderate injuries and is now recovering at home.

Anyone who has information about this incident is encouraged to get in touch by phoning Kapiti Police on (04) 296 6800.
