Police are at the scene of a serious crash involving a single motorcycle on Factory Road near Temuka.
The incident was reported to emergency services around 7.50pm.
The Serious Crash Unit have been notified.
The road will be closed as emergency services work at the scene.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area at this time.
