Power is out on Ohaupo Road / State Highway 3 following a car hitting a power pole.
The incident was reported to emergency services around 4pm.
Minor injuries are reported. There are no blockages to the road.
Cordons may be placed by power contractors to safely repair the pole and cabling.
Motorists should avoid the area as repair work is carried out.
