Attribute to Senior Sergeant Craig Ellison:
Emergency services are at the scene of a serious two-car crash that has blocked part of Percival Street in Rangiora this afternoon.
The crash occurred about 12.45pm, between Johns Road and Victoria Street.
One person is reported to be in a critical condition, while another has moderate injuries.
The road will remain closed while the Serious Crash Unit carries out a scene examination and diversions are in place.
Members of the public are asked to avoid the area.
