Police can confirm one person has died following a crash in Totara North in the Far North District this morning.
The two-vehicle crash on State Highway 10 (Twin Coast Discovery Highway) was reported to Police at about 7.30am.
State Highway 10 is closed between Otangaroa Road and Taratara Road. A diversion is in place.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
