Serious crash blocks SH 1, Ōtaki

State Highway 1 at Ōtaki is blocked following a serious crash. 

Emergency services received reports of the two-vehicle crash near Atkins Road about 4:25pm.

Indications are there are serious injuries. 

Motorists are advised to expect delays.
