Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash that has blocked State Highway 6 at Pelorus Bridge.
The single-vehicle crash happened between Maungatapu and Bulford roads, about 10.30am. One person is reported to be in a critical condition.
The Serious Crash Unit is responding.
The road is likely to be blocked for some time and motorists are advised to expect delays and delay travel if possible.
