Southern Christchurch group staff made a good catch late Friday night on Opawa Road when they stopped a Mazda 323 literally driving on its springs just before midnight.
They discovered that the 323 hatchback contained 91 dozen Millers beer that had been allegedly stolen from a nearby warehouse! There wasn't much room in the car.
Two males in their twenties were apprehended.
