A helicopter scouring a rugged section of coastline on the West Coast has recovered a fisherman who was reported overdue about 6pm today.
The man’s boat had been caught by a rogue wave and was wrecked on the rocks. The man had made it to the shore. The helicopter crew spotted the man about 8.45pm.
