Kapiti assault - update

Kapiti Police are aware of some community concern following an assault on a Kapiti College student on Monday.
 
While we appreciate people’s concerns, we emphasise that there was no sinister intent in the assault, which has already been dealt with by the Court.
 
Police also believe this was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing risk to the community from the individual concerned.
