Following a crash on Sunday 27 November in Clova Bay, Tasman Police are now in a position to release the name of the person killed.
He was 51-year-old Stephen Stratford of Nelson.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing and for that reason Police cannot comment further.
