Police investigate burglary of Hamilton pharmacy

Police are asking for the public’s assistance to identify those responsible for a burglary at the Hamilton Central Pharmacy on Pembroke Street.   The pharmacy was broken into at around 2am, Monday 12 December, by two offenders who used a large crowbar to force entry.   Once inside, the offenders targeted a safe that contained prescription medication and cash.   Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Acting Detective Sergeant Paul Slater on 021 191 0948.   Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.   ENDS   Issued by Police Media Centre.
