Name release - Kinleith truck crash

Police can now release the name of the man who died in a crash on Wainui Road near Kinleith on Friday 12 January.   He was Edward Tumaru Pahuru, 57, from Mangakino.    Police are investigating the possibility that Mr Pahuru suffered a medical event prior to the crash and the matter has been referred to the Coroner.   Police extend their sympathies to Mr Pahuru's whānau.   ENDS   Issued by Police Media Centre.
