The search for missing Hamilton man, Raymond Stirling has been suspended.
Extensive searches over the past 11 days, in the area around where he was last seen, surrounding suburbs and the Waikato River have failed to locate the 84-year-old.
Police would like to thank LandSAR, Raymond’s family and friends, and everyone else who volunteered in the search for their support, time and effort.
Raymond’s family has been notified and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
The matter has now been referred to the Coroner and Police will continue to follow up any further information that comes to hand.
