Update: Waikato Expressway closures

A section of the Waikato Expressway is closed as Police respond to an incident on an overbridge.   Northbound lanes are closed at the Avalon Drive/SH 1 on-ramp.   Southbound lanes are closed at the SH 1/SH 39 (Koura Drive) off ramp.   Motorists are asked to follow the directions of emergency personnel / signage in the area.   ENDS   Issued by Police Media Centre.
